Cycling in the Macedon Ranges
Macedon Ranges Cycle Challenge
The Macedon Ranges, Hanging Rock, Daylesford and spa country provides riders with some of the most interesting roads and picturesque views in the state. The ride has three route options: a challenging 131 km that takes in the full splendor of the region; 77 km for those who prefer a shorter ride; and the choice of a challenge climb up Mount Macedon or to bypass it. The flexibility of the route will enable riders to adjust their ride in-flight to suit the level of challenge desired. There will be refreshment stops along the way with a sumptuous BBQ to finish off the event. Funds raised will go towards finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and to other worthwhile community projects through the Rotary Club of Gisborne.
